Expansion of the Carbonera (TV) plant with a potential of 60,000 A.E.
The contractor EMS WATER TECHNOLOGY SRL and DINAMICA IMPIANTI srl, a company participating in the NORDAMBIENTE Business Network, has been entrusted with the works for the completion of the first lot for the expansion of the Carbonera purification plant.
The second section is also in the pipeline, which will bring the purifier to its maximum potential to serve 80,000 inhabitants and will allow the connection of all users belonging to the basin of the 8 municipalities currently served by the plant.
The investment for this first phase of the works amounts to 3 million and 400 thousand euros. Furthermore, thanks to the important interventions and research projects it has undergone in recent years, the purifier is confirmed as an example of circular economy in Italy and in Europe.
The works will begin approximately within the summer and will be completed in 10 months.
The interventions in this phase consist in the activation of the primary treatments and the installation of the electromechanical equipment of the various compartments of the treatment plant, with all the preparatory hydraulic preparations for the subsequent expansion of the biological compartment which will allow, in the future, to connect all the utilities belonging to the basin of the 8 municipalities that refer to the plant, namely Carbonera, Breda di Piave, Maserada sul Piave, Villorba, Ponzano Veneto, Povegliano, Spresiano and Arcade.
